Your hot syrup is ready to be brought in from the Sugar Shack.

On the kitchen stove, get the pan over a low heat. Get it boiling gently enough that it stays hot but doesn’t need watching too closely, so you can do a few other things in the next few minutes. You might get a little distracted and you don’t want a disaster as a result.
By the way, having a helper for this less stage is, well, helpful.
