So fun to dream... Although, if one has the means, and if the lot next to it is an available option. How tempting!

Exactly! Beyond the small matter of the well and septic not existing, it looks cute, and has lots of character :)

Love finds a way !

When you live with services you pay for water .. here you would just have it delivered !

There are other options to compost toilets.. look at what they use for Small homes.

Maybe some day the property beside will be for sale ??

Exactly :) The property to the left looks derelict, a house and a shed, so maybe they'd be looking to sell -- so there'd be plenty of room for a well and a septice if the two lots were combined.

It's still a fun fantasy though :)

Pretty, but no water or septic? Plus, I'm not a fan of open concept and am a fan of baths.

Me too! Water is delivered to a holding tank by a local contractor, supposedly. And I’m not sold on the idea of a composting toilet!

I also don’t like open concept. I like rooms, with sound-blocking walls, so I’d definitely want to put in a few walls, and maybe even add an upstairs level.

One thing I’m really (okay two things, because of the “basement” which is probably only a crawl space) curious about is that tower! Could it be opened up? Is it safe? Could it be made into a lookout? Are there iron spiral steps climbing up to it, or some rickety ladder?

It’s fun to imagine, though :)

Yes, that tower is really intriguing. Good luck finding a suitable home.
